Sneak Peek! 2018 MVMCP Sorcerers of Magic Kingdom Card
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins November 8 and Disney has given us a sneak peek at this year's party-exclusive Sorcerers of Magic Kingdom card featuring the birds of the Enchanted Tiki Room!
According to Imagineer Jonathan Ackley, this year’s party exclusive card was whipped up by Merlin the Magician after he became enchanted with a quartet of caroling birds down in the tropics.
“These charismatic avian performers inspired Merlin to create a new charm to give his acolytes for the year’s holiday celebration,” Jonathan said. “The Disney Villains will need to watch out, or they’ll end up with egg on their faces!”
In case you’re new to the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive game, guests can team up with Merlin to help defeat scheming Disney Villains who wish to take over Magic Kingdom Park. Guests locate villain hideouts throughout the park and visit magic portals where they use special spell cards to ward off the villain’s attack. Each spell card stars a different Disney character, each with their own unique powers.

World of Disney set to re-open this month!
Disney Parks Blog has revealed that the World of Disney stores are set to officially re-open on October 26 at Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort and October 27 at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World.
"World of Disney stores at Downtown Disney District in California and Disney Springs in Florida are being transformed into distinctly Disney retail environments that are contemporary, immersive and fun places to shop. In addition to improved store layouts, these flagship locations embrace new design elements that draw upon Disney’s rich history of storytelling."
Ahead of this re-opening, they are giving us a sneak-peek of some of the merchandise we can look forward to:
A new vintage-inspired collection features the one and only Mickey Mouse from 1950s television series, “The Mickey Mouse Club.”
The classic-yet-modern collection offers something for everyone, from eye-catching apparel to Mouse-themed accessories. T-shirts and varsity jackets are emblazoned with the “leader of the club.” Hats, headbands and handbags will make outfits as welcome as can be, especially for those in party-prep mode for the upcoming 90th celebration of Mickey Mouse next month.
November also marks the return of the holidays at Disney Parks, where guests can celebrate with captivating décor, delicious treats, and, of course, merchandise. The World of Disney stores in California and Florida will be the first shops this year to offer the Disney Parks Holiday collection.
For home entertaining, new dinnerware, including serving dishes, dinner plates and bowls, will make a splash during holiday meals.
